Built by a Centre Manager, for Managers, Owners & Agents
CentreWeb wasn't born in a tech startup. It was born out of frustration — from someone who spent years waiting on developers to make a five-minute update.
The Problem
As a shopping centre manager, he lived the chaos first-hand — a store changes its hours, a new tenant opens, an event goes live next weekend. Every update meant emailing a developer, waiting days for a reply, and paying through the nose for a five-minute change.
The Failed Fix
He tried the DIY route. WordPress, Wix, Squarespace — they were all the same. Chunky templates built for blogs and bakeries, not shopping centres or retail parks. No proper store directories, no real-time opening hours, no way to show a property the way shoppers actually experience it.
The Compliance Gap
On top of all that, most DIY website platforms are US-registered companies. For European properties processing visitor data daily, that creates a minefield around GDPR and EU-to-US data transfers — yet another headache that managers, owners and agents shouldn't have to worry about.
The Build
So he built one himself. A fast, clean, purpose-built site for his own centre — with a store directory he could update in minutes, opening hours that updated in real time, and a design that actually looked like a place people want to visit.
The Ask
Other managers noticed. Then owners and agents started asking too. "Can you build one for us?" What started as a favour for a colleague became a second property, then a third. Each build got sharper, faster, and more focused on what the industry actually needs.
Today, CentreWeb builds professional websites for shopping centres and retail parks worldwide — because the person behind it has actually managed one.
